Ventilation
Incorporates all networks requiring the transport of air in a building by using air handling equipment and ventilation ductwork. Ventilation air includes recirculated air, exhausted air, fresh air or recovered air. Ventilation is closely related to heating and cooling.
Plumbing
Plumbing systems include: the sanitary drainage, storm drainage, sanitary vents and domestic water. Plumbing also includes specialized piping and equipment such as compressed air, laboratory drainage, pure water and other similar piping networks.
