Existing office building which required major renovations of the ventilation and air conditioning systems. We were awarded the first tender in 2012 for the renovation of the upper floors (Phase I). We were then awarded the second tender in 2013 for the renovations of the lower floors (Phase II). The two phases were executed in stages to give our client the chance to move the building occupants. We performed the work directly for the city of Gatineau as a general contractor.

The main components of the project’s mechanical systems are :
- Replacement of 119 Trane fancoils systems in the ceilings throughout the building on six floors;
- Modifications to the chilled water system;
- Modifications to existing refrigeration circuits of direct expansion chillers on the roof;
- Retrofit with KMC controls system.
We provided the following services :
- Plumbing;
- Ventilation;
- Chilled water piping;
- Building controls (subcontracted);
- Thermal insulation (subcontracted);
- Electrical work (subcontracted).
- General work such as ceiling, drywall repairs and patching (subcontracted);
