This project involves the complete renovation of the laboratory to make it consistent with the new program of the Ministry of Education. The project had to be completed between the end of the winter semester and the beginning of the fall semester.

The main components of the project’s mechanical systems are :
- Custom rooftop ventilation system for the laboratories with "tilting heat pipe" energy recovery manufactured by Engineered Air;
- Specialized and dedicated exhaust ducts including stainless steel ducts, chemical laboratory hoods from Mottlab, biological hoods from Thermo Fisher Scientific and epoxy coated roof exhaust fans from Greenheck (distributed by EH Price);
- Sanitary drainage for laboratories including acid-resistant piping, natural gas, domestic water and non-potable water, reverse osmosis water system and a compressed air system;
- Carel gas humidifier supplied by Enersol.
