Additions and extensive renovations were made to the existing building to increase drinking water production capacity of the Buckingham and Masson-Angers sectors. The work was carried out over 2 years.

The main components of the project’s mechanical systems are :
- Rooftop air-conditioning units from York for the offices;
- Ventilation systems for production areas and equipment rooms manufactured by Bousquet Technologies;
- Custom PVC ventilation ductwork for the evacuation of the water basins and Greenheck epoxy coated roof exhaust ventilators;
- Chimney for the diesel engine exhaust of a backup water supply pump and the power generator supplied and installed by Cheminee Lining;
- Complete drainage network;
- Domestic water supply network;
- Compressed air piping and 2 new 7.5 HP compressors manufactured by Ingersoll Rand.
