This project aimed to replace a roof cooling tower for Public Works Canada on a 17-storey building. The replacement work was carried out during a weekend since the use of a 550-ton crane required the closure of a city street for more than 24 hours. We performed the contract as a general contractor.

The main components of the project’s mechanical systems are :
- Removal of the asbestos panels in the old cooling tower;
- The disconnection of the piping;
- The removal and transportation of the old cooling tower;
- Modifying structural component to receive the new cooling tower;
- Installation and commissioning of the new cooling tower manufactured by Cool Water Technology;
- The piping connections to the new cooling tower;
- Permits and signaling;
- The coordination and the transport of equipment;
We provided the following services :
- Stainless steel piping work;
- Structural work;
- Electrical work (subcontracted)
- Asbestos removal (subcontracted);
